How It Works
Feed water is pumped through hollow fiber membranes with very fine pores. Water passes through; solids, colloids and microorganisms stay behind and are flushed out by periodic backwash. Because the fibers are made by TIPS (thermally induced phase separation), they are strong and tolerate chemical cleaning across pH 1–14.
