UV Water Systems designs, builds and services the solar panel cleaning water system behind PV washing in Oman. Raw mains, borewell or tankered supply goes in; water under 10 ppm TDS comes out, so modules dry without spotting and the anti-reflective coating is not damaged. What we supply
Every solar panel cleaning water system we build is sized to your feed water analysis, module count and wash cycle. Nothing is sold from a catalogue.
- Raw water tank, feed pump and multimedia or sand pre-filtration
- Antiscalant and metabisulphite dosing with EMEC metering pumps
- 5 micron cartridge filtration and Grundfos high pressure pump
- Reverse osmosis with DuPont Filmtec brackish water membranes
- Permeate storage and mixed bed DI polishing to under 1 ppm
- Delivery pump, hose reel and inline TDS monitoring at the lance
- Trailer or skid mounting, control panel, and commissioning on site

Mobile units for cleaning contractors
Contractors working across several sites need the plant to travel. We build a trailer mounted solar panel cleaning water system with its own tank, RO unit, mixed bed vessel, delivery pump and generator, so the crew arrives with spot-free water instead of hunting for a usable water point. Rooftop portfolios in Muscat and remote arrays in the interior are the usual cases.

- Consumables after the first set, unless covered by an AMC
Service and consumables
A solar panel cleaning water system fails quietly. Resin exhausts, the meter is not read, and the crew keeps spraying hard water onto glass for weeks. Our annual maintenance contract covers scheduled cartridge changes, media backwash checks, membrane cleaning, antiscalant dose verification against a fresh feed analysis, and mixed bed resin replacement on outlet TDS rather than on a calendar. We hold stock of Filmtec membranes, mixed bed resin, cartridges and antiscalant in Muscat.
How to get a quotation
- Send your feed water analysis, or ask us to test a sample. TDS, hardness, silica, chloride and turbidity are the ones that decide the design.
- Tell us module count or plant capacity, wash method and wash cycle.
- We return a sized design with the membrane projection, an itemised quotation and every exclusion stated in writing, usually within two working days.
Frequently asked questions
How long does delivery take?
Standard capacities up to 1,000 LPH are typically four to six weeks from order confirmation. Larger and trailer mounted units depend on the build and are quoted case by case.
Do you work on government and oil and gas projects?
Yes. Uniqueness View LLC is registered with the Oman Tender Board and with JSRS for the oil and gas sector, and we supply hospitals, oil companies and government entities across the Sultanate.
Can you upgrade an existing RO unit instead of replacing it?
Often, yes. Adding a mixed bed polisher, correct dosing and inline TDS monitoring to a working RO is usually cheaper than a new solar panel cleaning water system. We will say so if that is the right answer for your site.
