Description
An alkaline RO water filter gives you the purity of reverse osmosis with a mineral stage that adds calcium and magnesium back into the water and raises the pH. Our 7-stage 50 GPD under-sink system suits apartments and villas in Oman, and the 8-stage version adds a UV sterilizer for extra protection.
Groundwater and tanker water in Oman often run 500 to 2,000 ppm TDS. Reverse osmosis brings that down to drinking-water quality, but pure RO water can taste flat. The alkaline RO water filter fixes taste by remineralising after the membrane, so the family drinks more water and stops buying bottles.

Applications

Maintenance and replacement
Change sediment and carbon cartridges every 6 months, the post-carbon and mineral cartridge every 12 months and the RO membrane every 2 to 3 years. The UV lamp on 8-stage units is changed yearly. Our annual service contracts cover all of this.
