Does the system need electricity?
Yes. A tankless RO uses a built-in booster pump to push water through the membrane at the right pressure, so it needs a power socket under the sink.
How much water goes to drain?
Every RO sends some water to drain to carry away the salts. Direct flow systems with a booster pump are more efficient than old tank systems. The exact ratio depends on feed TDS and pressure, and we check it at installation.
Is alkaline water safe to drink every day?
Yes. The alkaline stage adds calcium and magnesium in small amounts, similar to mineral water. It is not a medical treatment, just better tasting drinking water.
