Description
SATEPA MONO Series, an Italian-made UV sterilizer for home from SATEPA Srl, is an Italian-made UV-C disinfection unit for villas, apartments, farms and point-of-use drinking water lines. It inactivates bacteria and protozoa such as Cryptosporidium, Giardia, E. coli and faecal coliform without adding any chemical to the water. UV Water Systems supplies, installs and services it across Oman.

Why Choose This UV sterilizer for home in Oman?
Many homes in Oman store water in roof tanks that heat up in summer, which is ideal for bacterial growth. Well water and tanker water can also carry coliforms. A UV unit installed after the filter or RO stage gives a final barrier, and it does not change the taste or smell of the water.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often should the UV lamp be replaced?
Every 9,000 operating hours, which is roughly once a year in continuous use.
Do I need a filter before the UV?
Yes. A 5 micron sediment filter before the unit keeps the water clear so UV light can reach every microorganism.
