DM water 1000 liter IBC from UV Water Systems is demineralized water produced at our own treatment line in Muscat and filled into a clean 1,000-litre IBC tank. It is the practical pack size for factories, workshops, power and solar sites, laboratories and fleet operators in Oman who use more than a few jerry cans a week but do not need a full tanker. Oman’s mains and well water carries 150 to 2,000+ ppm of dissolved salts. Put that water into a boiler, a battery, a radiator or a lab instrument and the salts stay behind as scale, sludge and white spotting. DM water removes those ions, so the equipment runs on water that leaves nothing behind.

For reference, the conductivity limit of ≤ 5 µS/cm matches the Type IV reagent water class in ASTM D1193 Standard Specification for Reagent Water. If your process needs a tighter number, tell us the limit and we will confirm before filling.

Where Our DM Water 1000 Liter IBC Is Used

Not for drinking. DM water is an industrial product. It is not sold as drinking water or for medical or pharmaceutical use.

How We Produce and Test Each Batch

1. Pre-treatment: sediment and carbon filtration remove particles and chlorine.
2. Reverse osmosis: removes roughly 95–98% of dissolved salts.
3. Ion exchange polishing: mixed-bed resin takes out the remaining ions.
4. Inline check: conductivity is read before filling; water outside the limit is not filled.
5. Filling and sealing: the IBC is filled through the top opening and capped.

IBC Handling and Storage

• Keep the IBC on level ground, out of direct sun. UV light ages HDPE and warms the water.
• Keep the top cap closed between uses. Open containers pick up dust and CO₂.
• Use clean hoses and fittings. A dirty hose undoes the water quality in seconds.
• Stored sealed and shaded, DM water stays within specification for months. Opened tanks are best used within a few weeks.
• Do not store DM water in mild steel or copper. It is aggressive to bare metals; HDPE, PVC and stainless steel are suitable.

Can I refill my own IBC?
Yes. Bring or return a clean IBC and ask for the refill price.

Yes, by tanker for monthly or project demand, priced per litre on quotation.

Can I get a test report?

Is DM water the same as distilled water?
